“I realized that this field is quite un-organized and not many tutors are available to teach others about this market, and that is where I found an opportunity to teach others how to make money in this market”, says Kaushal.
We got an opportunity to talk with Kaushal, the founders of Purpletrades and Let’s look at his journey as an entrepreneur and see how he is working hard to achieve his dreams. I am sure his story will inspire you.
Give a brief info about your startup?
Our start-up is a financial institution that teaches about how to trade/invest in stocks and mutual funds.
Our institute name is PURPLETRADES. Right now rated # institute in Banglore for learning stock market, by URBAN PRO AND JUST DIAL.
What made you start your startup and what problem does it solve?
When I was an engineering student, I always wanted to earn money by working part-time in such a way that doesn’t affect my studies, after searching all the job profiles, I realized that only stock market can fulfill this criterion, thus I wanted to learn about this market in depth and hence was in search of someone who can teach me, I was lucky enough to get a mentor close to my home who taught me about this market in brief and helped me trade and make some money.
But I realized that this field is quite un-organized and not many tutors are available to teach others about this market, and that is where I found an opportunity to teach others how to make money in this market.
The idea is to make people self-dependent and help them invest their hard earned wealth cleverly to generate un-beatable returns.
Tell us about yourself, your previous jobs/ventures? What were you doing before this startup?
I was an engineering student at UVCE college, who was just looking for ways to make money, and when I got in this field, I realized that this is the best business of 21st century.
I got recognized by zee-business in 2015, as a youngest analyst and runner-up in show SENSEX KA SULTAN IN 2015 BANGALORE, that is where I started getting serious
about this profession and decided to make it full-time and hence quit my engineering.
Where is your startup based out of? Why do you think that is the best place for you?
My start-up, as the most startup, is based out of silicon valley Bangalore, And it’s probably the best place to start out my journey of institute because
there is absolutely no competition in this field in Bangalore, I have surveyed cities like PUNE, MUMBAI, DELHI, AHMEDABAD ETC, everywhere there are hundreds of institutions providing services in this field, but Bangalore didn’t have any well-reputed institute so that is where I stepped in and started my venture.
As a startup founder, what are you paranoid about? What keeps you awake at night?
From my childhood, I always wanted to be famous and rich by helping others, what better platform than the stock market?
In my firm, we make money only when our clients are happy and making money.
I BELLIEVE99% OF THE PROBLEMS can be solved by money and we are helping people make money and solve their problems
I am extremely proud and feel grateful that I got this opportunity to serve society in this way.
Who are your competitions and how are you better than them?
To be honest, In this field right now we have very less competition, by some individual trainer and small institute, no one is big as such in Bangalore market so far.
The key point that keeps us ahead of all our competitors is our course design and our practical trading desk, where a student can actually come and sit with us and trade under our guidance and make money live.
How hard is it to have a work-life balance as a startup founder and how do you manage it?
I personally believe that, If you are passionate about something, it’s never hard for you, you always set it as #1 priority.
yes as a founder of a startup in initial phase the work is too much hectic and there are sleepless nights, because client satisfaction is our priority
and we go beyond working hours to help them and be brand, but if you love your work,
you will always enjoy that struggle and I personally never get tired of working in my firm.
Have you raised funding? If yes, then we would like to know the details. If no then please tell us if you are looking to raise.
We are debt free company and boot-strapping thus haven’t raised any fundings.
However, we look forward to getting connected with investors to raise funds and increase our business exponentially.
What’s the biggest misconception people have about you? Why do they have that? What’s the reality?
The biggest misconception people have about me is that I am gambling money and the stock market is all a gamble.
I have opened this institute just to clear this big misconception that people impose towards traders and the stock market.
What gets you excited about this company?
There are days, where my students visit my institute with packs of sweets, or gifts thanking me that I have changed their life
and they are earning well now just coz of me, For me, there is no bigger appreciation than that.
such feedback helps me push myself to the limit and always give my best.
