Lots of other factors such as a large potential customer base, relatively more economical & quality infrastructure, availability of skilled professionals for hiring, the presence of investors for growth funding and ease of doing business fueled by the Govt. of Haryana make Gurugram an ideal place to start-up.

Gurugram is the fourth largest start hub in India after Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi with approx. 1,500 startups. It houses some of the highest valued startups of India, including Oyo Rooms, Zomato, Urban Clap, Shopclues, Delhivery and MakemyTrip. Over $1Bil was pumped into Gurugram-based startups last year accounting for nearly 30% of total startup funding in India.

The efforts from Haryana govt. to enable entrepreneurship have been significant. Some of the key initiatives which will give a thrust to entrepreneurship include:

      INR 1500 Crores to be invested into the Incubation and Startup Ecosystem

      22 Technology /Business Incubators / Accelerators to be established in each of the different sectors in every district of Haryana
